Job Overview:
We are a private women's club located in the city of Buffalo. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building for our members and guests. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Weekly- Tuesday-Friday 8:30-3:00 (other shifts available if you need more hours)
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. - ---Polish brass handrails and doorknobs
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, and common areas
- Mop and vacuum dining rooms, halls and stairways
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Operate Elevator for members and guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
