The Twenty Two is a luxury lifestyle hotel based in London. We are opening a new property with an all-day public restaurant and private members’ club located in the former Margaret Louisa Home in Union Square.
We are looking for an In-Room Dining Attendant to join our team. This role will operate on overnight shifts and is a crucial and valuable asset to our operations.
Overview:
The In Room Dining Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional and discreet service to all hotel guests who order from the In Room Dining menu. This role ensures that each order is accurately prepared, beautifully presented, and promptly delivered, while providing a warm, attentive, and professional experience that reflects the standards and ethos of The Twenty Two.
General Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing warm, intuitive, and professional service at all times.
- Take in-room dining orders accurately, ensuring all guest preferences and dietary requirements are noted and met.
- Prepare trays and trolleys with attention to presentation, cleanliness, and quality standards before delivery.
- Deliver food and beverage items to guest rooms promptly, ensuring courteous and unobtrusive service.
- Follow up with guests after delivery, ensuring satisfaction and offering any additional assistance.
- Collect trays and trolleys from guest rooms discreetly and promptly, maintaining cleanliness in guest corridors.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all in-room dining menus, including daily specials, allergens, and beverage offerings.
- · Input and close orders accurately in the system, ensuring smooth communication with the kitchen and billing department.
- Ensure all areas of the In Room Dining operation are clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Liaise with the kitchen, housekeeping, and front office teams to ensure seamless guest service.
- Handle guest requests, special occasions, and last-minute orders with efficiency and a sense of urgency.
- Facilitate personal development by attending food and beverage training, tastings, and cross-training opportunities.
- Embody and uphold the spirit, values, and service philosophy of The Twenty Two.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards at all times.
- Follow and comply with the Company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
Experience Required:
- Experience as a Butler, IRD Attendant, or other relevant service position in fine dining, a luxury hotel or private home environment.
