Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Membership Director / Executive Assistant to oversee the day-to-day engagement and execution of Membership inquiries and approvals.
Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
- Admission meeting, file development
- Conduct tours for prospective members. New member orientation
- Maintains the club’s database (membership register) of members’ files
- Develop and ensure that established procedures for processing prospective members’ applications are consistently followed
- Plans and implements strategies to meet club membership goals
- Processes all requests for transfers of membership
- Maintains online member directory.
- Holds prospective member functions
- Assist prospective members in fulfilling application requirements.
- Measurement and evaluation of membership lists, counts and totals
- Execution of the welcome letter to new members
- Execution of the prospect proposer letters once member is approved
- Execution of LOA or termination letter to existing members
- Communication for all the file information around the introduction and approval process
- Posting of the new members in the newsletter and on bulletin lobby board
- Communication with admissions Chairperson on execution of file and needs for approval
- Assesses the need for and makes recommendations regarding membership classifications to help ensure that the needs of ever-changing markets are met
- Maintains club’s member bulletin board
- Prepares notices, agendas and other items for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors’ meetings; manages records and files minutes of each meeting; maintains official minutes of all board committees
- Performs general office tasks not limited to word processing to assist the General Manager/COO
- Take minutes at Board meetings
- Must demonstrate appropriate analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational and project management skills
- Must have superior interpersonal skills as well as excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 years’ minimum related experience
- Windows 10, word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Jonas Club Management systems
- Private club or fine dining experience preferred
- Flexibility and dependability are essential.
- Accountability to timelines and expectation
- Ability to communicate with staff, members and guests
- Able to work well with little supervision
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background and drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
