Position Overview
The Tennis Depot is seeking a Customer Service & Retail Associate to assist customers in our store, provide expert tennis equipment recommendations, and help with racket restringing. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about tennis, retail, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with product selection, ensuring excellent service.
- Recommend and sell tennis equipment, apparel, and accessories.
- Restring and service tennis rackets (training provided if needed).
- Process sales transactions accurately through the register system.
- Track and maintain inventory levels in the retail space.
- Help create an organized and inviting storefront display.
- Answer customer questions and assist with phone and online inquiries.
- Work towards meeting and exceeding sales goals to earn bonuses.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of tennis equipment or a passion for the sport is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and perform racket restringing (training provided).
- Detail-oriented and comfortable handling cash and card transactions.
- Self-motivated and able to meet sales targets for commission and bonuses.
- Comfortable working afternoon and evening shifts (3 PM - 7 PM).
