Position Overview
The Tennis Depot is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to expand our reach and grow our customer base. This role is responsible for identifying and connecting with potential buyers, including tennis players, coaches, tennis facilities, schools, and universities with tennis programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about and has in-depth knowledge about tennis, is sales-driven, and able to develop strong relationships with clients to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and engage with potential buyers, including coaches, players, academies, and athletic programs.
- Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and in-person visits to introduce our products.
- Build strong relationships to generate repeat business and maximize sales opportunities.
- Present and demonstrate products, highlighting their competitive advantages.
- Develop sales strategies to expand customer reach and increase revenue.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
- Work with the operations team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous sales or business development experience is a plus; experience in the tennis industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Comfortable with cold calling, networking, and client follow-ups.
- Knowledge of tennis equipment and industry trends preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
- Ability to travel for meetings and industry events as needed.
