Position Overview:
The Dispensary Manager will oversee the daily operations of our dispensary, ensuring compliance with state regulations, managing staff, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for the cannabis industry. Experience with store openings and rollouts is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of dispensary operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, and customer service.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations related to cannabis sales and operations.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise dispensary staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
- Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking products to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Sales Strategy: Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Customer Relations: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and community outreach programs.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales, inventory, compliance, and employee performance.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and best practices to enhance the dispensary's offerings.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in retail management, preferably within the cannabis industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
