Our client in Barry, IL, is one of the largest and most successful cannabis companies in the nation, and they’re looking for passionate, motivated, and reliable individuals to join their Cultivation, Labeling, and Packaging teams.
Cultivation Team Opportunities
- Shift: Monday–Thursday OR Tuesday–Friday, 6 AM–4:30 PM
- Pay: $18.30/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for cannabis plants, including watering, pruning, and trimming.
- Fertilize and supply nutrients based on cultivation protocols.
- Monitor plants for issues like disease or pests and apply treatments as needed.
- Accurately document and maintain compliance with state regulations and company SOPs.
Packaging Team Opportunities
- Shift: Monday - Thursday 7 AM-5:30 PM
- Pay: $17.30/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Labeling Team Opportunities:
Shift: Monday - Friday 7am -3:30pm
Pay: $17.30/ hour
Responsibilities:
- Properly label cannabis products
- Inspect packaged products for any defects or discrepancies and address them as necessary.
- Ensure that all packaging materials meet quality standards and are free from contamination.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to minimize risks associated with handling cannabis products
Requirements:
- Are 21 years of age or older.
- Can pass a Mandatory State Fingerprinting Background Check (no felonies within 10 years or misdemeanors within 5 years)
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED.
- Are motivated, self-directed, and passionate about building a career in the cannabis industry.
- Are comfortable lifting 50 pounds frequently.
