Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $53,500 - Midpoint: $66,900 (Salaried E8)
Department/Organization: 218101 - Dean's Office-School of Law
Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:45 pm; some nights & weekends required
Job Summary: The Law School Employer Outreach Coordinator builds relationships with employers both in state and out of state. Facilitates employment opportunities for students and alumni, and manages employer relations database. Coordinates in-state networking receptions. Develops, implements, and publicizes educational programs, presentations, and workshops for students.
Additional Department Summary: Coordinates with career services colleagues to build and execute a comprehensive employer relations plan, implementing relationships with new employers and retaining existing employers.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of recruiting, career advising, alumni and parent relations, and/or employer relations/development experience; OR master's degree and some recruiting, career advising, alumni and parent relations, and/or employer relations/development experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Occasional travel required.
Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of web-based research, including Martindale-Hubbell, state bar directories, the NALP directory, and general internet searches. Prior knowledge of, or the ability to master the CSO's web-based career management system, 12Twenty.
Preferred Qualifications: JD preferred.
