What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Associates – Rheumatology position at The University of Chicago?
The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Rheumatology, is seeking full-time rheumatologists for appointments as Clinical Associate for renewable terms of up to two years. Appointees will primarily see outpatients in the general rheumatology clinic at our Harvey, IL and / or Tinley, IL site and have a half-day clinic onsite in the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM). Occasionally, appointees might be asked to serve on the inpatient consult service at our main campus in Hyde Park. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must : 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC / BE in rheumatology.
