CCHE aims to eliminate all new HIV transmission events by 2041.The University of Chicago\'s position on the South Side makes it uniquely situated to test, treat, and prevent new HIV infections in a highly affected population. The South Side communities and majority Black suburbs connected to them to the South represents the largest contiguous Black population in the United States. By using our integrated HIV transmission elimination approaches, we are beginning to make new infections in these communities less frequent.Job SummaryThe Senior Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for meticulous and accurate data management for both service and research project data, and will oversee data collection, management, and storage across multiple service and research databases. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing regular data quality and assurance checks to ensure high data integrity, streamline processes to support best practices for research workflows, and providing training for colleagues across multiple data collection tools. The candidate may assist with the development of abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and other research and service outputs for both quantitative and qualitative research projects. The position is under the direct supervision of Ellen Almirol, MPH, MA and Dr. Anna Hotton, PhD, MPH.ResponsibilitiesOversees the general maintenance of the Center\'s data collection tools (i.e. Apricot, REDCap), as well as develop any needed new workflows and / or projects within these systems, respectively.Provides recommendations for best practices in the design of data collection tools and data management systems to improve data quality.Responsible for data management aspects of research studies and service programs.Responsible for generating documentation for projects, e.g. procedural manuals, protocol worksheets, codebooks, questionnaires, progress reports, addendums, and / or adverse event reports.Performs quality assurance (QA) audits conducted by study sponsors, federal agencies, or specially designated review groups, as well as QA summary reports for staff (internally) and stakeholders (externally) as affiliated to site in a timely, accurate manner.Prepares analytic datasets for research recruitment, analyses, and data abstractions and provides preliminary descriptive statistics.Oversees the execution of data usage agreements (DUA) and / or data management plans (DMP) to share data with internal and external partners / institutions.Standardize processes for data abstraction via Release of Information agreements (ROIs) that support service projects and research studies for the Center.Provides professional support to staff or faculty members in defining the project and applying principals of data science in manipulation, management, programming, and analysis, and trains new staff on data management protocols.Produce quantitative or qualitative analytic products for research projects.Has a deep understanding of methods to analyze complex data sets for the purpose of extracting and purposefully using applicable information.
