Responsibilities

• The Nurse Educator orients new staff to the position and department .
• Plans and conducts various educations activities for the staff.
• Effectively communicates both in writing and verbally.
• Reports to the Director of designee.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing

• Current Kansas RN Licensure

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a clinical staff nurse with at least one year experience in area required.

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• Master's degree in Education or Nursing
• Prior teaching experience preferred
