Get to Know Your Team:
- The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.
- Directs and monitors Cancer Center front end staff to include but not limited to: receptionists, check in and check out staff, schedulers, referral specialists, insurance authorization personnel, billing specialists, and assists the Manager in evaluating performance.
- Is responsible for overseeing day to day operations of front end staff duties to include, but not limited to, accuracy in appointment scheduling, registering of patient accounts, completion of work ques, timely and accurate insurance authorizations, adherence to SAINTS with patient and visitor interactions and assures all accreditation and hospital/clinic policies and procedures are being followed.
- Reports to Cancer Center Manager or designee.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 2 year degree
- CNA or CMA
- 1 year surgery scheduling experience
