Job Title: Surgical Technologist
KU Eye & Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team on a full or part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures for cataracts, retina, cornea transplant, glaucoma, oculoplastic, LASIK & refractive surgery, and neuro-ophthalmology.
- Provide cross-training in sterile processing and front desk duties.
- Ensure quality patient care during surgical procedures by maintaining constant vigilance of the sterile field.
- Perform professional, clinical, and technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus on patient care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Will to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Work Schedule:
Full-time positions: 4 - 10 hour shifts. Part-time positions: 2 or 3 - 10 hour shifts.
