Surgical Technologist Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at The University of Kansas Health System.

As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures.

You will be working under the direction of the Registered Nurse and the Nurse Manager, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgeries.

• Maintain constant vigilance of the sterile field to ensure quality patient care.
• Takes responsibility for self and/or team accountabilities and instills sense of ownership in others to improve performance.
• Perform professional, clinical, and technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
