Must live in Jackson, TN or within very close proximity to the UofM Lambuth campus, to fulfill on-call requirements.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Duties & Responsibilities
Meets with students, parents, staff, vendors, and targeted audiences and respond to inquiries regarding University programs and services.
Oversees residence hall operations and facility maintenance. Trains and supervises professional and student staff. Co-manages residence life expenditures for facility and education programs. Reviews incident reports and follow-up with students with appropriate charges and sanctions. Serves as on-call staff in the event of emergency, provides support for transported students, and communicates updates with Memphis administration.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manages 10 student programming & facility budgets totaling approximately $200,000, coordinates contracts and payment for vendors and services. Plans, promotes, and implements 40 programs per semester including travel with students to the Main Campus (Memphis, TN) events and activities. Conducts various staff training centered on effective program planning and assessment.
Oversees registered student organizations, assists in program implementation and funding allocation, and directly advises two student organizations. Facilitates Tiger Leadership Institute, service-learning programs with community partnerships, and collaborates with offices of Multicultural Affairs, Student Leadership and Involvement, Center for Service Learning and Volunteerism, Career Services, and Student Health & Counseling Services to provide resources, programs, and spend designated funds specific to the Lambuth campus.

Manages college union facility, maintenance requests, information desk operations, Relaxation Room, Career Closet, Tiger Pantry, student event set up, and internal/external client space usage. Facilitates emergency preparedness drills for college union and residence hall building and serves as liaison for Dining Services within student union facility. Additionally maintains the Commuter Lounge in Varnell-Jones Hall.

Provides advising and coaching sessions to assist students with career planning, resumes, interviewing skills, professional development and job/internship search strategies. Uses career assessment resources and results as necessary.
Collaborates with departmental faculty, advisors and other key stakeholders to develop industry and employment specific events and workshops that facilitate student learning, skills/career competencies development, and networking opportunities for students.
Develops, fosters and maintains relationships with external constituents to provide internship and employment opportunities for students.
Serves as the primary career specialist for administrators, faculty and staff for the exchange of information and referrals for career opportunities for students.
