Bachelor’s degree (Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field).

The Department Is Especially Interested In Candidates That Have
Monday – Friday
7:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Provides student oversight and supervision.
Provides a safe and nurturing environment for growth.
Leads small group instruction at the direction of the supervising faculty.
Abides by the ideals and principles set forth by the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct.
Maintains compliance with DOE Childcare Licensure and NAEYC Accreditation Standards.
Assists supervising teacher in curriculum development and delivery of classroom activities.
Provides day to day support for the supervising teacher to facilitate classroom routines and daily caregiving tasks.
Participates in classroom management, set-up, break-down, decoration, etc. at the direction of the supervising faculty.
Communicates directly with supervising teachers and school staff related to the needs of the children and their families.
