Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Will require work beyond normal schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. May require travel as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
Capital Projects
- Lead every aspect of facility projects relating to athletics including, but not limited to, organizing the request for proposal or request for quote process, managing of the budget and approval process, overseeing design and construction vendors and process, and approving all interior and exterior design elements
- Serve as the primary contact for the University facilities management to ensure appropriate coordination with University policies and procedures
- Work in conjunction with the Senior Deputy Athletics Director on the development and execution of the Athletics Master Facility plan
- Primary contact for 19 Varsity programs to determine current and future facility needs
Facilities and Event Management
- Supervise facilities and operations staff to ensure appropriate maintenance of facilities, including coordinating and updating staff on upcoming renovation and construction projects
- Work with Assistant AD of Facilities & Operations on scheduling and budgeting for all internal and external events taking place within Athletics facilities
- Supervise event management and championship staff to provide support to gameday event operations, including assisting with bids for post-season tournaments, as needed
Sport Administration
- Serve as the primary or secondary sport administrator for all issues related to respective sports program. Should exercise proactive leadership to resolve concerns for coaches, student-athletes, and/or support staff assigned to the respective sport
- Provide leadership, advice, counsel, oversight, and guidance for each assigned program
- Attend practices, home and away games as needed to fully comprehend the culture and challenges of assigned program
Administrative
- Lead the budget planning for game day staff, daily maintenance, facility improvement and capital projects. Operate within the confines of the budget
- Provide annual evaluations for personnel under direct supervision
- Attend and participate in department and staff meetings and events
- Represent the University of Memphis in a positive manner at any events on or off campus through community engagement, outreach, and public speaking engagements
- Be knowledgeable of and fully comply with all appropriate rules and regulations of the University of Memphis, the American Athletic Conference, and the NCAA
