May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Job Duties
Duties & Responsibilities
Part of the team responsible for monitoring the general departmental email account and both formulating appropriate responses, reaching out to colleagues for more information, and tracking emails to ensure appropriate and timely responses to all communications.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assists with office communication to students, parents, and campus partners (such as DRS) including application information, assignment details, and notices.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assists oversight and review of office filing, physical and electronic; responsible for receipt of important housing documents. Enters correspondence into student electronic record using housing software. Part of the departmental team maintaining the Master Vacancy Report (MVR)
Duties & Responsibilities
Assists with housing cancellations; processes change requests for housing applications; assists with assignments, takes the lead on assignments for GSFH and those classified as “Special Interest Housing” such as: athletics, living learning communities, ROTC, etc.

Assists with housing reports as needed.

Responsible for working with departmental partners on students asking to arrival early and stay beyond published housing contract dates.

To ensure a continuously smooth operation over the summer months, works with campus partners and HRL staff to ensure conference housing assignments are completed in a timely manner and done in concert with student summer housing assignments.
