Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Threat Assessment & CARE (Faculty/Staff) Coordinator located in Albuquerque, NM. The coordinator will be responsible for conducting threat assessments, providing training and education to faculty and staff, managing CARE cases, and utilizing analytical skills to evaluate and mitigate potential threats. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with campus partners, researching cases, preparing reports, and implementing intervention strategies as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, higher education, college student affairs, or related field
- Clinical mental health licensure (LMHC, LADAC, LPCC, LCSW)
- Direct experience in case management, social work, counseling, residence life and on-campus student housing, student conduct, or student affairs is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with legal issues impacting students, staff and faculty at a University.
