Position Summary
The UNM-Valencia Campus seekscandidates for temporary, part-time faculty to teach 1000-2000 Level ComputerScience (programming) courses. If online teaching is needed, documentedaccepted training and / or in-house training would be required. Positions arecontingent upon the need of each semester as determined by student enrollmentlevels and current course offerings. This is a continuous recruitment beginning in the Fall 2025 semester.
Located about 30 miles south ofAlbuquerque in rural Valencia County, The University of New Mexico-ValenciaCampus is a two-year branch campus of The University of New Mexico, whichfunctions as a community college in the region and is designated a HispanicServing Institution. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics or a related field and 18 graduate credit hours in Computer Science.
- Two years of experience teaching or tutoring Computer Science (programming)
