The Inventory System Manager at the University of Oklahoma supervises the maintenance of an inventory system for University-owned assets, except real estate. This position is also responsible for receiving, storing, and disposing of excess assets.
Daily tasks may include :
- Initiates periodic physical inventory of University-owned assets to verify accuracy of records.
- Ensures new University owned assets received are properly tagged and entered into the inventory system.
- Evaluates and determines most appropriate method for disposal of excess equipment and furniture.
- Assists in scheduling pick-up of surplus items form departments and colleges.
- Supervises the day-to-day operation of equipment inventory.
- Performs related duties as assigned to successfully fulfill the functions of the position.
