Job Description Summary
The Lijun Zhou laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics at the Perelman School of Medicine is seeking a Senior Research Investigator. This is a chemical biology lab for nucleic acid innovation and synthetic cells research, affiliated with the Penn Institute for RNA Innovation. The successful candidate will work closely with the PI and postdocs to build a new lab together and contribute to innovative research in nucleic acid studies which will be applicable to novel RNA therapeutics.
Position is contingent on grant funding.
Job Description
The Sr. Research Investigator will work closely with the PI and postdocs to build this new lab together and contribute to innovative research in nucleic acid studies which will be applicable to novel RNA therapeutics.This senior level scientist will help manage research lab activities, perform experiments, write scientific publications and independent grant proposals as well as maintain lab equipment.
Position is contingent on grant funding.
