Financial Analyst II
The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Neurology is seeking a qualified candidate who will serve as the Financial Analyst for the Department’s Discretionary/Endowed funds totaling~ $25mil. This position will manage/reconcile the Discretionary funds. In addition will manage and report financial data, create financial statements and monitor rev/expenses against the ledger. This role includes processing invoices, preparing MOU’s and Interagency Agreements (IPA’s) and manage pre-post award functions for IPA’s. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and be able to trouble shoot independently. In addition, Non-Salary Wage Cost Transfers, Salary Wage Cost Transfers. Will prepare financial summary reports for non-grant funds and meet with faculty/investigators and supervisor.
Prepares and analyzes moderately complex financial statements and handles assigned projects' expenses; prepares moderately complex to complex financial reports. Performs advanced analysis of financials, tracks progress and forecasts future trends, and assists with financial statement preparation.
Manage Department’s Discretionary accounts, including reconciling and reporting. Manage timelines and deliverables. Prepare Financial reports/documents, Monitor rev/expenses, Invoice Processor, Serves as Departmental Treasurer. Preparing MOUs/IPAs and managing pre-post award functions for IPAs.
Must be able to get around a university setting.
