Receptionist
The University of Pittsburgh Student Health Services provides high quality primary health care, prevention, health education and pharmacy services to enhance student living and learning. Primary care services include management of both acute and chronic conditions as well as travel health and provision of gender affirming care. The Gynecological services include screening for STIs, provision of age specific screening as well as full contraceptive management. Psychiatric services include management of mood disorders as well as ADHD. Student Health Services is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), these services uphold rigorous standards of quality and safety, promoting a healthy environment conducive to academic success.
Greets visitors and directs them to appropriate offices and meeting rooms. Answers telephone and inquiries, takes messages, and transfers and refers callers. Manages calendars, operates standard office equipment, and performs a variety of clerical work.
- Greets and checks in customers, clients, and other visitors; directs visitors to appropriate destination and/or employee.
- Answers telephone, takes messages, and transfers callers; provides general information and appropriately answers customer inquiries from walk-ins, incoming calls, and emails.
- Schedules appointments and manages calendars.
- Operates standard office equipment including a telephone, copy machine, fax machine, and computer on a regular basis.
- Performs a variety of clerical duties, including filing paperwork, distributing mail, preparing routine reports, and data entry.

Light Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
