The Research Coordinator will support the research team in maintaining
and managing the data requests and attending local community
partnerships to understand their data needs and uses. This position will
also support the research team in synthesizing Early Childhood Education
research trends, policies and practices to help the research team update their agenda.
The Research Coordinator will work hybrid, working both on campus and remotely as needed.The ability to have reliable transportation to attend local community partnerships, foster collaborations with partnering agencies and programs to understand their data needs and uses.
This position is a 12 month position and renewable based on grant funding.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree and background in data and sufficient data-related experience with good communication skills to coordinate the data-related projects, including but not limited to identifying data needs of partnering agencies, sending monthly reports, participating in early care
and education committees, working with researchers on grant proposals, and performing basic data analysis.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills. The ability to work independently as well as be a team member on projects.
