Posting End Date: This position will be open until filled. At the discretion of the hiring department, this position posting may close once a sufficient number of qualified applications have been received.
Salary Range: Starting at $40,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours: up to 40 hours per week, exempt.
Required Application Materials:
Starting Fall 2025, Lecturer will teach 4 sections per semester of a freshman level common course, Academic Introduction and Strategies. This course is designed to help students transition to college and is taught to clusters of students grouped by academic majors. Faculty will teach a blend of courses geared to students in their area of expertise (Business education) and undeclared students. Summer teaching may be available.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a Business-related field required or Master's degree from an accredited university with extensive course work in business.
- Experience in Business education or related field.
- Terminal degree in a Business-related field.
- Teaching experience at an institution of higher education and demonstrated high levels of teaching performance as indicated by a formal review.
- UTSA is a tobacco free campus.
- This is a security sensitive position. Employment is contingent upon a successful background check.
- Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.
