Purpose
To provide exceptional front desk and administrative support for UT Elementary School, ensuring smooth daily operations and positive communication among students, staff, families, and the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and organizational support to the Principal and Administrative Associate, including managing correspondence, maintaining office equipment, filing, copying, and other clerical duties.
- Order and manage inventory of office and instructional supplies to ensure staff have the materials needed to support student success.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars for school leadership and staff.
- Assist with internal and external campus communication, including newsletters, notices, and event updates.
- Greet and assist visitors, staff, students, and families in a professional and friendly manner at the front desk.
- Provide basic support for students visiting the nurse’s office and help coordinate communication with families as needed.
- Help organize and support school-wide events, including setting up logistics and communicating with families and staff.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a welcoming and efficient front office environment that reflects the values of UT Elementary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of experience performing clerical or administrative functions.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to translate written and verbal communication.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Three years of experience in an elementary school setting.
Salary Range
$36,000 depending on qualifications
