What are the responsibilities and job description for the LNA/Mental Health Tech - Resource Pool position at The University of Vermont Health Network?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the general supervision of a licensed registered nurse, our Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA)/Mental Health Technician performs selected duties pertaining to direct and indirect nursing care of the patient.
EDUCATION:
Current LNA license to practice professional nursing in the State of Vermont is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required (can be trained upon hire for BLS).
Must obtain AVADE certification within 6 months of hire.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
EXPERIENCE:
One year of previous experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in a nursing home or hospital setting is required.
SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!
Sign-on bonus is available with 2 year commitment - up to $5,000! Must have at least one year of experience.
