Job Summary
The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the operational management of several divisions of the Laboratory. Responsibilities include goal setting, facilitating the activities of team members and coordination with Laboratory Administration and Laboratory Support and Diagnostic Teams. Monitors workload and test menus and collaborates for changes to the appropriate Medical Director. Develops and administers budgets for the division(s) for which responsible. The integration of the EPIC Beaker information system is a critical part of the position.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate science field and Medical Laboratory Scientist, Cytotechnologist, Histotechnologist or Pathologist Assistant national certification. Master's degree in appropriate field preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 6 years' work experience with at least two years in a supervisor capacity.
RELOCATION:
We are offering a relocation package of up to $9,200 for eligible candidates relocating more than 50 miles. Additional terms and conditions apply.
