Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in maintaining store operations, including stocking merchandise and managing transactions, while promoting our products through engaging demonstrations.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Engage with customers through product demonstrations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout process.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an appealing store layout.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively sell items.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a POS system is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively;
• Basic understanding of retail math to assist with inventory management and sales tracking.
• A proactive attitude towards learning about new products and enhancing sales techniques is essential.
