We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. The Store Lead/Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring effective communication, and maintaining store standards to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Manage daily store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive work environment and address any issues promptly.
- Utilize math skills for cash register operations, including handling transactions accurately and managing financial reports.
- Oversee wireless sales initiatives, ensuring that team members are knowledgeable about products and promotions.
- Maintain stock levels by monitoring inventory and placing orders as necessary to meet customer demand.
- Provide training and support to staff on store policies, procedures, and best practices in customer engagement.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and in-person interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Explain products and services to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Enter and process customer orders
- Estimate and pack customers items for shipping
- Fax, copy, and other light duty office work
Qualifications
- Proven experience in store management or a similar role within retail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in math for accurate cash handling and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to manage stock effectively while ensuring the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
