Center/Store Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Center Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering world-class customer service to customers. This requires strong interpersonal skills, effective oral/written communication skills, the ability to work well with others, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers, determine their needs, and provide excellent service.
• Shipping and Packaging: Process and pack packages for various shipping methods, including domestic and international options.
• Printing and Copying: Operate store equipment for printing, copying, binding, and laminating.
• Sales and Up-selling: Knowingly promote products and services, and offer additional solutions to customers.
• Technology: Be proficient with Point of Sale systems, software packages, and internet applications.
• Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, and manage end-of-day duties.
• Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
• Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, customer service experience, and strong communication skills.

Skills

• Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
• Experience in retail sales or related fields is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
