Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Store Team Leader to oversee daily operations and lead our retail team to success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring the store runs smoothly. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for retail.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, including stock organization and replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed decisions regarding merchandising and promotions.
- Train and develop team members in cash handling procedures, POS operations, and upselling techniques.
- Foster a positive work environment by effectively communicating with team members and addressing any issues that arise.
- Implement company policies and procedures to maintain operational standards.
- Engage with customers to provide assistance, resolve complaints, and enhance overall shopping experiences.
- Monitor store performance metrics and take proactive steps to improve results.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cash handling processes and POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate financial transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Experience with stock management practices in a retail environment is desirable.
- A passion for retail sales with a focus on achieving results through teamwork and collaboration.
