Job Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR functions within our manufacturing facility in Sheboygan, WI. This role will focus on recruitment, employee relations, workers' compensation, time and attendance, and compliance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with plant leadership and the corporate HR team to foster a positive and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an HR partner to plant leadership and employees, providing guidance on policies and best practices.
- Oversee recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and new hire onboarding.
- Maintain personnel records in compliance with EEO, privacy, and labor regulations.
- Assist in employee relations matters, offering support on policy interpretation and conflict resolution.
- Manage timekeeping systems (ADP, KRONOS) and ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Administer benefits, including open enrollment and new hire benefits meetings.
- Facilitate performance review processes and support succession planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I‐9 and conduct periodic audits.
- Assist in planning employee engagement activities and HR communications.
- Support safety committee meetings and collaborate with the EHS team on workplace safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with HR systems such as ADP, KRONOS, ATS is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
