Provides coordination of patient and staff education to support, protect, and promote breastfeeding.
Qualifications
Shift: PER DIEM VARIED
Education
Successful completion of IBCLC and/or CLC.
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of Lactation experience.
Technical Skills
Demonstrate a working knowledge of lactation knowledge and practice
License/Certification
Current certification to practice as an IBCLS/IBCLC or CLC is required; Current BLC and NRP certification required
Other
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
