Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Server/Manager to join our team. This hybrid role blends hands-on service with leadership responsibilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while assisting in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment and can seamlessly transition between serving and managerial duties.
Key Responsibilities:As a Server:
- Provide exceptional table service with attention to detail, menu knowledge, and guest engagement.
- Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations on food, craft cocktails, and wine pairings.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a high level of hospitality.
- Handle guest requests, special occasions, and dietary restrictions with professionalism.
- Ensure accurate order entry and timely food and drink delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and side work duties throughout shifts.
As a Manager:
- Assist in overseeing floor operations, ensuring smooth service and team coordination.
- Support the General Manager in training, coaching, and leading the front-of-house team.
- Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests, ensuring prompt resolutions.
- Monitor service quality, ensuring all team members meet high hospitality standards.
- Assist with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and end-of-shift reports.
- Help manage reservations, private dining events, and large parties.
- Enforce health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in staff training and management within the food service industry
- Strong background in hospitality and kitchen management
- Proficiency in food service operations and team management
- Familiarity with TOAST POS system
- Familiarity with OPENTABLE system
- Experience in fine dining and casual dining environments
- Knowledge of inventory control and cash handling procedures
- Ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
