Position Overview :
The primary responsibility of the Intern is to assist in project activities of the division and learn the key operating procedures of the assigned department.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Learns the operational workings of the assigned department by observing Team Members, participating in meetings, asking questions, and evaluating services.
- Provides input into the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure the organization’s competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality environment.
- Assists the department management with assigned operational functions consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department, division, and organization.
- Provides a service or assistance to meet the needs of a guest, client, or customer consistent with the Company’s core service standards and brand attributes.
- Completes special projects as assigned by department management.
- Collaborates with Interns from other departments to organize, complete, and present group projects.
- Attends and participates in classes offered by the Venetian Academy .
- Volunteers in events organized by the Venetian Love for All program to provide support to local organizations in the community.
- Safety is an essential function of this job.
- Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Assist in development of BI Dashboards and reports to provide management and Sr. Leadership timely and actionable information using Tableau, SSRS, and other tools.
