Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Manager – Casino Optimization is to provide marketing & casino operations analysis, reporting and recommendations for initiatives to improve the profitability of various casino and hotel promotions as well as the casino floor in general.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth analysis and revenue tracking of the new and ongoing promotions, incorporating various statistical methodologies (such as logistic regression and cluster analysis) in order to determine the most qualified (profitable) patrons to contact via mailers, telephone calls or email.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses on casino and hotel customers, including but not limited to; creating statistical models to help hotel management forecast market mix of future casino rooms, determine effects of mailers to events & promotions, event and promotion mailing overlap, and profitability of potential appended database variables.
- Review and monitor all aspects of the customer lifecycle to identify opportunities to increase wallet share.
- Provides input and direction in the development and monitoring of fiscal budgets, division operations and marketing strategies to produce both short term and long-term profitability.
- Perform analysis on table games to improve scheduling alignment with forecasted demand.
- Conduct slot analysis to improve game performance and optimize capital expenditures.
- Develop team member skills to enhance department effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, statistics, engineering or other analytical fields or equivalent relevant work experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 2-4 years of casino industry or statistical analysis experience preferred.
- Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Extensive experience with large databases or SQL programming or other analytical software.
- Experience with Python & Power BI or equivalent tools and programming languages preferred.
- Ability to create and interpret various reports, as well as analyze complicated processes and communicate effectively is essential.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Board Gaming registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Salary : $59,900 - $75,900
