Position Overview :
The primary responsibility of the Operator – Surveillance is to operate surveillance equipment within the department, document, and report all activities.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. This is a safety-related position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Operates surveillance equipment within the Surveillance room.
- Documents, observes, tapes and reports any violations of state regulations, company policies or departmental procedures.
- Documents, observes, tapes and reports any illegal activity.
- Interacts with local, state and federal law enforcement in the investigations of criminal activity, which occurs on company property.
- Reports any malfunction of the surveillance system.
- Assesses, evaluates and reviews data for security and / or providing direction on activities, tasks or processes in accordance with company guidelines.
- Safety is an essential function of this job.
- Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
