Job Description
Vertex is seeking a Construction Claims Consultant to join our Surety team! This role provides the opportunity to leverage your expertise in evaluating construction claims, assess project risks, and support surety providers in navigating complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and inspect construction activities, ensuring quality assurance and compliance with project specifications
- Review and interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Perform technical evaluation of construction performance and payment bond claims
- Conduct audits of project schedules and finances, preparing detailed reports
- Review and prepare construction contract claims while supporting other regions as needed
- Manage project documentation and submit timely reports, including time sheets and expenses
- Travel as required for projects. Travel includes both local and national travel, with minimal notice
