Lead Veterinarian for Diagnostic Imaging - North Houston area #7995
We have a position open for a veterinarian to work in a facility with cutting-edge diagnostic imaging technology with state of the art machines and unparalleled quality and techniques. There are opportunities for mentorship and professional development in diagnostic imaging. You will be taught how to do imaging and grow this skill. This is a valuable, transferable skill to anywhere in veterinary medicine.
The Lead Veterinarian will focus on overseeing patients during advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, CT and ultrasound. Our highly experienced Imaging Manager and the veterinary technician team attend to all facets of running the imaging studies, leaving the veterinarian to focus on supervising anesthesia, biopsies and other tasks that require oversight from a veterinarian. The veterinarian will communicate imaging findings from the radiologist to the client, will collaborate with referring veterinarians and support the imaging team in providing exceptional diagnostic services. The veterinarian will consult with the internal radiology team, manage patient workflow, and communicate with pet owners and referring veterinarians. We offer a Monday through Friday schedule and will consider a 4 day a week schedule.
