What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitality Services Worker position at The Villa Rehab Center?
A Hospitality service worker must be capable to prepare food following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. They will ensure good sanitary condition in cooking and dining premises. They must be able to perform housekeeping duties such as washing laundry, cleaning bathrooms and mopping floors. They must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach. We are willing to train the right candidate.
The goal is to provide excellent hospitality services by following instructions and standards.
Responsibilities
· Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
· Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
· Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
· Discard leftovers and take out garbage
· Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
· Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
· Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
Perform housekeeping duties with attention to detail.
Provide laundry services for residents.
Follow sanitation and disinfecting guidelines and rules set by the facility and CDC recommendations.
· Respond effectively to resident requests.
Requirements and skills
· Friendly with good communication skills
· Clean professional appearance.
· Ability to complete food sanitization courses within 6 months of hire.
· Must be dependable
· Ability to arrive to work timely.
· Must be at minimum 18 years old.
· Must be able to pass criminal, child and Adult abuse background checks
Must be a team player.
