Village Tavern has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for our LINE COOK TEAM!

Candidates must have full availability (AM and PM). Weekends are required. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience.

LINE COOK
Line Cooks are responsible for the food guests rave about! As a Line Cook you will prep and prepare delicious dishes in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Candidates must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time, in a fast-paced environment.
LINE COOKS RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recipe Adherence
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service in a timely manner
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager’s instructions
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, of high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Arrive on time and in clean, pressed uniform with a positive attitude ready to work
This is an hourly position, with part-time and full-time positions available.
Pay range: $20-$23/hour (pay based on experience)
1-3 years of experience required.
Weekends required.
