Position Title: Documentation Specialist
Reporting into Title: Quality Manager
Position Purpose/Summary: Undertakes activities to maintain the highest possible commitment to quality line documentation for The Visual Pak Waukegan Company

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables

All duties as assigned and the following specific activities.
- Coordinate with department personnel for SOP updates
- Assign / maintain training records, matrices, SOPs through Master Control.
- Assist with preparation of production of needed documents, training materials, etc.
- Assist in the scheduling and tracking of audits
- Track, record and compile data associated with document control process
- Manage, file and organize quality assurance documentation
- Perform periodic quality audits on the production floor as required
- Participate in investigations regarding quality concerns
- Assist in the reporting of quality issues
- Work as part of the Safety Committee to improve plant safety

Qualifications
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities
Education:
- H.S. Diploma or GED
Experience:
- 1 – 3 years clerical or QA experience
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Technology/Software :
- Demonstrated Microsoft office proficiency (Word & Excel)
- 1 – 2 years WHM system experience strongly preferred
Communication:
- Communication skills in both English and Spanish (2nd Spanish preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of personnel
Physical Capabilities
Strength: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Movement: Ability to stand for long periods of time
Hearing: Reasonable capacity so as to accept work direction or training in a loud, busy environment.
Vision: Reasonable capacity so as preform job duties and understand work resources and work environment.

Salary : $17 - $25
