Our boutique doggy daycare is seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our luxury, cage-free daycare, boarding, and grooming service. Located in Santa Monica/West L.A., we offer an exclusive resort-like experience for our pups, complete with a 10,000 sq. ft. grassy play area and a massive indoor space for dogs to play, relax, and enjoy themselves. We pride ourselves on providing the best amenities at affordable rates, and we’re looking for a rockstar receptionist to help us keep things running smoothly!
What You’ll Do:
- Be the Friendly Face of the Daycare: Greet clients and check pups in and out of our system with a smile.
- Keep Things Organized: Answer phones, file paperwork, process payments, and manage the cash drawer.
- Show Off Our Amazing Facility: Give tours and educate new clients on all the perks of our daycare and boarding services.
- Handle Client Questions and Concerns: Help with inquiries and ensure clients’ concerns are addressed or communicated to the owners when needed.
- Work with Our Team: Coordinate with daycare assistants to make sure dogs’ feeding, baths, and any special needs are taken care of.
- Keep the Office Tidy: Maintain a clean, welcoming front office space.
- Get Creative on Social Media: Upload fun daily photo albums of our pups to Facebook and other platforms.
- Pitch In: Assist with errands, event planning, and other admin tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Dog Lovers: Must enjoy working around dogs of all breeds—bonus if you bring your own!
- Customer Service Experts: Previous experience in front-office or customer service roles is required.
- Great Communicators: You’ll be the go-to person for clients and teammates, so strong communication is key.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: You’ll handle payments, client files, and scheduling—keeping everything running smoothly is essential.
- Team Players: We work together to ensure the best experience for our pups and their owners.
