Job Summary :
Leads and manages the HR Business Partner team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. Responsible for managing HR processes, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, benefits administration, risk management, and supporting the overall HR strategy to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Team Member Relations : Serves as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues and concerns. Investigates and resolves team member complaints and conflicts in a fair and timely manner. Provides guidance and support to managers and team members on employee relations matters, including performance issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Partners with HR centers of excellence to implement programs that increase engagement and create loyalty. Utilizes and analyzes team member key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Benefits Administration : Oversees the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other employee perks. Evaluates and recommends improvements to benefits programs to enhance team member satisfaction and retention. Manages relationships with benefits vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality benefits offerings.
- Compliance and Reporting : Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Creates and updates policies in accordance with appropriate laws, regulations, and company requirements. Prepares and submits required reports and filings related to benefits programs and employee relations activities. Monitors changes in labor laws and regulations and updates policies and procedures as needed.
- HR Operations Management : Oversees daily HR operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance management. Uses performance metrics to make recommendations for improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the HR division. Leads a culture of continuous improvement and prioritize efforts that will drive value to team members and managers.
- Insurance and Claims Management : Oversees the procurement and management of insurance policies, including general liability, workers' compensation, and property insurance. Manages claims processing and work with insurers to resolve claims efficiently. Monitors and analyzes claims data to identify trends and implement preventive measures. Serves as the company representative in legal disputes and focus on resolving the matter in accordance with organizational practices.
- HR Projects : Collaborates with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals. Leads and participates in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and enhance employee experience. Stays informed of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR operations.
