The Waldinger Corporation, a leading mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sheet metal contractor, is hiring an experienced Construction Accountant for our Des Moines Office.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains project accounting records for commercial construction projects
- Track and analyze construction costs, including labor, materials, subcontractors, and overhead expenses
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for construction projects
- Generate invoices and billing statements for construction projects based on contract terms and milestones
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 4 year degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
- Inventory management experience preferred
- Proficient with MS Office products
- Ability to multi-task
- Organized and detail-oriented
