Construction Technology Support Specialist

The Waldinger Corporation, a growing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and Sheet Metal industry leader is looking for a Construction Technology Support Specialist to join our PreConstruction team! This role will provide effective and timely resolution over a range of end-user inquiries to support Construction Operations Technology implement software changes, roll out software to new users, and maintain a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Offers first-level support to team members for software and technology-related issues including software troubleshooting, installation, and configuration, specifically for construction software. Ensures software is up to date by coordinating with the provider for updates, patches, and upgrades. Helps users optimize available platforms for project needs.
• Assists with managing and maintaining project data, including file imports and exports, end ensuring data integrity between construction software and other systems. Supports in opportunities for integrating construction software with other systems to streamline workflows.
• Ensures digital workflows, such as the connection between the construction software and fabrication machines, run smoothly.
• Assists with software-driven tracking of materials and prefabricated assemblies through the production cycle.
• Communicates with end-users on open tickets and guides them to a speedy resolution. Provides efficient and accurate follow-up to resolve issues within department-defined timelines.
• Documents all discovered needs, requests and issues, resolutions, and solutions. Reports regularly on work complete and status of assigned tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years in a construction technology support-related position
• Functional knowledge of software including: Stratus, Revit, Navisworks, and Recap
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms including Autodesk Construction and Trimble Connect.
