Individual annual salaries / hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.Responsibilities : Analyzes problems, provides complex program specifications, develops or modifies programs, assists in the scheduling of programming projects, and supervises the technical activities of assigned personnel.Schedule 8 AM-5 PM Responsibilities GENERAL PURPOSE : The Supply Chain Operations Lead Analyst plans and deploys enabling operational work in support of multiple SCM-related technologies, programs, and systems, including ARC Health Technologies provided Helios™ Automated Inventory Management System, Allscripts Supply Chain Management (ASC), Stanley Real Time Location Systems (RTLS), Online Order Form, Workday,. This position interacts with vendors and multiple disciplines of the Medical Center and its affiliated hospitals with a goal of insuring POU and advancing perpetual inventory standard operational workflows, and IT and supply chain alignment. This position requires the ability to work cooperatively and communicate well with others to achieve organizational and team goals. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES : TECHNICAL ANALYSIS AND TRAINING - Performs standardized analysis utilizing reports from the various Healthcare Information Systems to support Supply Chain operations, as well as to optimize current clinical, financial, and operational performance. This includes, but is not limited to : analyzing current operational workflows, identifying barriers to implementation and the inventory reconciliation process, and making operational recommendations for new or modified workflows. - Drives and measures development and ongoing process improvements for SCM-related programs and systems where applicable. Implements process improvement measures. - Provides monthly metrics to Supply Chain Operational managers and ISD, making recommendations to improve the overall operations. This includes partnering with operational stakeholders to interpret exiting Dashboards and action the dashboard recommendations. - Conducts technology training for ARC Health Technologies and Helios™ Automated Inventory Management System for URMC and supports other SCM-related programs and health system trainers and end users (i.e. Supply Chain, Receiving, personnel, etc.) SOLUTIONS DESIGN, EVALUATION - Meets with stakeholders to understand business requirements and enabling projects. - Assesses needs, defines and provides effective and proven solutions for clinical / inventory operations for both patient care supplies and patient care equipment. - Analyzes and translates vendor design into a functional operational plan by taking into consideration the vendors technical recommendations combined with URMC IT and Supply Chain system standards, strategy and capabilities. - Creates operational standards, procedures, templates and best practices to support the technical design and implementation of the POU solution. PROJECT WORK - Directs department through all phases of technology adoption, including build, test, and production (Go-live cutover). - Documents department current and future state workflows, develops application test scenarios, and directs testing respective of project timeline(s). - Provides operational recommendations on enabling strategies to optimize inventory, use of handhelds, Par Locations and Main stocking room(s). Directs the implementation. - Assists with new and existing storeroom technical set up as required (may need to be onsite). - Assists building of new par forms and requisition templates and reconfiguring of inventory locations. - Assists with large-scale conversions from the technical side. TROUBLESHOOTING AND KBR - Acts as liaison to ISD to help troubleshoot issues stemming from Supply Chain information systems (ASC, Helios, etc.). - Acts as liaison to Real-Time IntegraAtion team for RTLS support for equipment tracking and movement history. Makes recommendations for new locations of Exciters to capture RTLS equipment locations throughout URMC facilities (may need to be onsite). Inspects and diagnoses handheld scanner errors (may need to be onsite
- Repairs or sources to correct group for repair. - Manages other SCM Standardization projects as required. Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS : - Bachelor's degree in related discipline such as Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Engineering required; - Master's Degree preferred - 4-5 years of related experience required; - 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity preferred; - or equivalent combination of education and experience required. - Experience in Supply Chain operations in a healthcare, higher education, business or financial services setting preferred - 7 years of experience in IT and / or healthcare preferred - 2-3 years' experience with ERP Systems Allscripts, Meditech, Workday SCM, RTLS or asset management systems, P2P or Financial systems preferred - Strong understanding and application of office productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint preferred - Highly organized with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, and manage resources and time effectively preferred - Experience working with Supply Chain and healthcare operations (clinical or revenue cycle) preferred - Excellent technical, communication (written and verbal), presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills preferred - Proficient in Microsoft SQL Management Studio and Visual Studio preferred - Knowledge of ITIL Framework and Processes in an enterprise environment preferred - Knowledge of SDLC practices with focus on agile development, systems / process orientation preferred The University of Rochester is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion to advance the University's mission to Learn, Discover, Heal, Create - and Make the World Ever Better.
