The Disney Programming team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.
Job Summary :
Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Content Planning, the Manager, Content Planning will be responsible for coordination of international planning efforts across content types, partnering cross-functionally with teams including Networks / Studios, Operations, International Programming, Marketing, and Communications.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role :
- Lead content planning efforts with designated studios / networks, working closely with international programming teams, operations, and US-based Global teams to implement, track, and report on titles through lifecycle of planning to sunrise.
- Responsible for maintaining daily communication and positive relationships with networks, marketing, and international office partners.
- Coordinate calendars, reports, and content plans into data-informed summaries and high-level presentations for executives and internal collaborators.
- Represent Disney Global Content Planning & Scheduling in meetings with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $103,500 to $138,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
